Let me tell you about my Jesus!! Late last night I tuned into a live worship with Brad Lee, and it was powerful. Gary and I both had tears in our eyes. Gary made the kids come and join us for the last few songs and closing prayer.

First off, he’s an amazing guitarist.. but he got on piano last night and played ‘The Thief’ and it just hits you right in the heart. I can’t even explain how strong you could feel the presence of God. It was so strong.

Nothing in the world can calm your thoughts and your emotions like Jesus can.

I was so frustrated over a situation prior to that, but I went to bed in so much peace and woke up and realized, it’s not even a thing to think about.

We are not responsible for other people’s actions. Only ours! My focus should be on my family and God, and it has been for a long time. That shouldn’t ever waver based on someone else’s inability to control their emotions. I am certainly capable of controlling mine, and I know that’s what God wants from me. We’re always a work in progress, but I shouldn’t ever be going in total reverse.

Gary has a short day today, he will be home before lunch most likely. We may go out to dinner tonight for our Anniversary since he’s getting off that early. I had planned on going tomorrow, but I’ve been fasting since 6 yesterday. Dinner sounds good!

I think I want to go to the Blackwater Bistro downtown. Steak Divine with a wedge salad sounds so good!! 🤤 I’m not going to feel any guilt about it either!
