I’m enjoying my pottery wheel so much. Today I learned a lot about spiral rolling and how important it is for throwing and centering.

The tiniest wobble creates quite a difficult time. I used a lot more strength today than what I should have to. I was having to pull to keep it centered.

I learned a lot though! Florian Gadsby, on YouTube, is a beginners treasure box!

Like with any hobby, it’s slow because I’m finding I need things- tools, sponges, organizational containers, cutters etc. Blick has wonderful resources!

I try to avoid Amazon for art materials, unless it’s a brand I’m already familiar with.

Anyway, I’m going to really enjoy this. I’ll have some pieces dried and ready to paint in a few days. 😍🤍
