I said I wasn’t going to order school clothes online this year, but I did. 😂

Most of it came from Amazon, and I got Norah a few things from American Eagle. I ordered Gage four pairs of jeans from Buckle and a pack of eight shirts. They’re just plain T-shirts in different colors, but that’s all he wanted.

I even went ahead and ordered him some boots online, which I swore I wouldn’t do because I wanted him to try them on first. But they were on sale for a really good price, so I’m taking a chance.

Norah Harper wanted a pair of Golden Goose tennis shoes and another pair of Converse. The Golden Goose shoes are pretty pricey, so I told her the only way we were doing that was if she took it easy on me with the school clothes this year.

So naturally, I ordered a pair for her and a pair for myself. 😂🤪 I cannot help myself when it comes to shoes.

I know that sounds crazy, but I still ended up spending less money this year than I usually do because I didn’t buy her that many clothes, and what I did get was pretty well priced.

She wanted a big pack of T-shirts like Gage’s, with the same shirt in several different colors. I also got her four pairs of pants, a pack of socks, two new bras, some makeup, and perfume.

Next weekend, I’m going to let them go to the mall and pick out a couple of T-shirts. If Norah wants a couple of pairs of shorts, she can get those too, but then I’m done.

We can buy clothes whenever they need them throughout the year. We don’t have to have an abundance of everything right at the beginning of the school year.

They both wanted really basic black backpacks, so I found two at Dick’s Sporting Goods with awesome shoulder straps. They look like they’ll be really comfortable.

Honestly, I think this may be the smartest I’ve ever handled back-to-school shopping. They both got what they actually wanted, I spent less than usual, and nobody ended up with a closet full of clothes they won’t wear.

Now let’s just cross our fingers that everything fits. 🤞🏻
