I’m spending mine binging Maxton Hall and vegging out in bed today. Gary’s working a double, and it’s been storming off and on. I laid out for a little bit this morning, but the weather is so spotty.
I think there’s a tropical storm or something forming in the Gulf that’s supposed to hit tomorrow or maybe Tuesday? I really haven’t watched it enough to even be commenting on it, but you can definitely feel it. It’s a bit gusty. One minute the sun is shining in the next minute it’s thundering in the distance and sprinkling.
Being close to the ocean makes storms separate and do the craziest things. It’s one of my favorite things about living close to the ocean though. I love the unpredictable weather. We’ve had it almost everywhere we’ve lived from Ocean Springs, Tampa and now here. You learn not to depend on the weather forecast. It just does what it wants to do.
Gary didn’t get home from work until almost 3 AM this morning. I ended up staying up until he got home, because I couldn’t sleep. I finished a series that I’ve been watching, and then I started on Maxton Hall right before he got home.
It’s ok so far, it has a Cruel Intentions type feel, but not as dark.
I’m gonna finish the first season and then I need to go watch our church sermon for the day. I usually like to do that with Gary, but he said he’s just going to listen to it on his AirPods while he works.
That is all I have planned today – just a lazy Sunday, snuggling with my kids and dogs. I don’t even have anything planned for dinner. I may just have something delivered.
I’ll probably get up and do a little art or some painting and tidy up the house a little bit for bed, but for right now, I have no intentions of moving from the spot I’m in. Happy Sunday friends. 🤍
