What’s a chapter of your life you’d title “The Hard Years” — and what got you through it?
Losing my Mom and brother within 2 years. It gutted me.
God ultimately got me through it by redeeming me and freeing me from my coping mechanism which was alcohol.
I’d abused alcohol off and on since my Dad died in 2000.
I think prayer, Jesus, redemption, sobriety, a loving and supportive spouse, and having 2 amazing kids to live for all played a part but ultimately I give glory to God for ALL of those things.
