I just started watching Seeking Persephone on Angel today, and so far I’m really enjoying it.

My friend Heidi recommended it and we always like the same things so I decided to give it a whirl and of course she was right.

It’s a Regency romance about a quiet, misunderstood duke and a young woman who agrees to marry him to help her family. I’ve barely scratched the surface, but it already has that cozy, slow-burn feel that makes you want to keep watching “just one more episode.” Unfortunately it’s only 4 episodes in total, but I’m enjoying it.

If you’re like me and love period dramas with beautiful scenery, a little romance, and characters you can root for, this one might be worth checking out.

We watch the Angel network a lot. We really get our money out of it.
