My Louise Carter box came in and I am absolutely smitten with everything I got.

I can’t believe you can get seven pieces for $85. That’s ridiculously inexpensive, but if it really does hold up in saltwater, I’m gonna be so impressed, and believe me I’m gonna be testing it.

I think my favorite piece is the pendant, or the herringbone chain. I have my dad‘s gold herringbone chain, and it’s really thick, but I have thought about going and getting it shortened so I could wear it from time to time.

I really love herringbone and I’m glad it’s coming back in style. I always liked it better than rope chains. I have a rope necklace and bracelet set of my Mama’s. If it ever came back in style, I might wear it, but it’s not my favorite. I just keep all these things because one day they’ll be Norah’s. 

Regina also gave me a herringbone bracelet that belong to Gary’s stepdad Jim, and I’ve never really known what to do with it because it’s kind of big on me. It’s way too small for Gary, but he has a massive wrists. Maybe Gage will wanna wear it in the future.

I’m just excited to have some pretty pieces that I can wear and not worry about losing or worry if anything happens to them.
