OK, if you’ve been on the Internet for a while then you’ve seen Louise Carter waterproof/saltwater proof jewelry.

They’ve been running that sale for 7 pieces for $85. I finally caved and treated myself to seven pieces for my birthday.

I hope it’s as nice as everybody says it is. I’m kind of excited about the idea of having a a few pieces of jewelry that I can wear all summer without having to take them off, but they wouldn’t be so expensive that if I lost them, I would be devastated.

There’s probably a really huge market for it bc salt water is a real issue for a lot of metals.

I tried to pick pieces that are staples, because I love my mother’s jewelry and all my sentimental jewelry from Gary. I just wanted some nice solid pieces that I could mix with some of my things.

These are the pieces I ended up picking. Obviously the initial will be a J instead of a K. There was a lot to choose from, but I kept going back to these pieces.

I will definitely come back and give you guys a review when I get it in. It said it would arrive within 7 business days.

I really hope it’s as good of quality as everyone says because I would love to get Norah a few things for her birthday in September. I don’t know that she needs seven pieces, but I saw a few bracelets and necklaces that I think she would love.

Well, we will see if it’s worth all the hype. I did see one review where someone said the gold is a very yellow color, but that doesn’t really bother me. It’s all covered in 18 karat gold and then it’s dipped and some type of waterproof coating, and it’s also supposed to be nontoxic for your skin.

I’ll what you guys know what I think when it arrives 🙂
