Just popping in to say hello 🙂 We are being bums today and I’m not mad about it!!

We went to Lowe’s this morning and then we ended up back in bed watching TV for a few hours. Gary fell back asleep until almost noon and he is NOT one to lay around but I think he really needed that.

I baked some sourdough and did some piddling. I mostly sat on my phone scrolling!

We had a full weekend. Lots of yard work, golf cart rides, riding bikes and lots of swimming. It was a fun one.

Tomorrow we won’t be able to lay around. We’re going to be putting down new mulch in the front beds and a little area I’m making into beds by the pool steps. I also really want to pressure wash the drive way and front porch. It really needs to be done.

Gary has been a big help with keeping things watered in the back. I appreciate it bc I hate our hose back there. It’s a pain in the butt to pull out. I’m hoping we can figure out how to install some type of sprinkler system on that side of the house eventually. It gets all tangled up around everything when you’re trying to go around the table and chairs. There’s definitely a better way- we just have to take time to do it.

I just thoughts I’d hop on for a minute and update.

Norah had a blast at her dance Friday, the kids are finishing up their last full week, and we have lots of celebrations coming up. Gage’s birthday (23rd), my birthday (27th) and Memorial Day and Summer Break!

May is always a very busy month for us, but a good month! 💛
