Wishing all you ladies a wonderful day!

I think this is the first year that I didn’t wake up and feel terribly sad. I feel happy. I feel loved, and I feel content.

I’ll always miss my mother terribly, but I know where she is and who she’s with and I’m so thankful that I got to have her for as long as I did.

What a blessing to have felt that much love throughout my life. I’m so grateful to God for giving me to Barbara Jean.

I know she always said that I was her sunshine, but she’s mine. Even now. Even after all these years without her, she’s one of the greatest impacts on my life.

I hope you are all feeling love and appreciated today. And for those of you who are missing your mothers today, I see you. I understand.
