We all woke up early this morning, so we just decided to take the kids out for breakfast at Aces Hangar. That was fun. We haven’t done that in a while!

Now Gary’s gone fishing with his best friend Sam, so I am spending a little time doing girl stuff! Harper has her friend here, so we set up a little manicure table in the kitchen. We’re all painting our nails and doing facials. Hah.

Sam’s wife had to work this weekend, so he’s been wanting Gary to take him to the neighborhood dock to launch his boat. They may not be out there long bc this weather is spotty today. One minute the sun is shining in the next minute it’s pouring.

Oh, I love it though! I love May showers. I just love watching everything grow. Except the the grass, of course.🤣

I’m about to put some pork chops in my slow cooker, because Gary’s been craving smothered pork chops and banana peppers.. and then I am going to enjoy not doing anything today.

I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy again in the evening and I’m hooked on it like it’s the first time I’ve seen it before. 😂 That’s the only show I can do that with. So I’m probably gonna put that on and fold some laundry. 

When I have it on the kids just walk by and roll their eyes and occasionally say things like “ewww gross”. Which can apply to the surgeries or someone kissing. Hah. Let me have my Mama time!!

I felt the same way when my mom used to watch the Young and the Restless and Guiding Light. lol Grey’s IS basically a soap opera with a lot of open heart surgery.

I have enough laundry to keep me busy for a couple of seasons lol
