We had such a fun weekend. we had some Boudin & a few different sausages that Gary’s Aunt brought us from NuNu’s in New Orleans, and the kids have been wanting barbecue chicken wings, so we decided to just make a big ole feast out of it. One of the sausages was with pineapple and it was so delicious!! The wings were fantastic too. I made deviled potato salad, corn on the cob, low-sugar banana pudding and we had the best watermelon! It’s a little early in the season for watermelon, but these were good! We grabbed two little ones from Publix yesterday. 🍉

The kids played so hard all weekend. They were riding bikes, playing volleyball, fishing, and swimming pretty much the whole time. That’s so good for them.

Last night we took them to the late show like I had mentioned in my prior blog. That was the cutest movie!! I loved it. 🩷 Princess Peach is my favorite Mario character, and she’s the only one I will drive with in Mario kart. Hah. I’m the reigning Mario kart champion in this house, so I loved that she was the main character. 😂😂😂

We had the whole theater to ourselves, so it was nice that we could laugh and cut up without disturbing anyone. It was really fun. Gary and I laughed as much as the kids did!

It’s been a great weekend. My Mama heart feels very full.

Tomorrow I get some one on one time with my husband and I’m looking forward to that. He’s been training a few guys recently and he’s been gone a LOT. I’ve sure missed him. We’re going out for lunch tomorrow and we’re going to do a little thrifting/antiquing. 🩷

Grateful.
