I’m still awake, but I am headed to bed right now.

Today was a pretty perfect day! I got to do a little yardwork, Gary and I made some plans for building some new steps for the pool, then we took a nice golf cart ride before the kids got home from school. The weather was gorgeous. I’m not gonna lie, I spent the day and one of my muu muus and even wore that thing to the grocery store. You can dress up a muu muu with a cute pair of sandals and a cute bag like nobodies business!! I love my muu muus. 😆😆😆

The kids have some friends over for the weekend, which is why I’m up so late. They are finally calming down. They swam all night and I figured it would wear them out, but they came in and turned up to a full 10. They’re finally settling in. Gage and Norah are only 16 months apart in age, so when they have friends over, they all play really well together. I say play, they’re not really babies anymore, but they enjoy hanging out together.

Occasionally Gage is a typical big brother, and can get pretty annoyed with her and her friends, but I think he has a lot of patience because they’ve always been so close. He loves her and he’s very protective of her. Even when he gets frustrated with her, it doesn’t take him long to get over it. I’m really glad about that because she adores him, but she’s just being a little girl!

Gary will be home in a little while and will be off until Thursday, so tomorrow we are gonna cook out and swim, and then we’re surprising the kids by taking them ALL to see Mario Galaxy in Pensacola 🙂 The kids have been wanting to go, but I know they’ll be really excited that we got tickets for their friends too. Gary booked us the late show so it’ll be a late night tomorrow night too. I wasn’t crazy about doing the late show at first, but Gary wanted wanted to have the theater more to ourselves, and they’ll be a lot less little kids there at that time of night. I don’t think it starts until 9:45 pm. I’m usually already in bed by then but it’ll be fun!!

I love being with these kids and I love being their Mama!!!
