I got to talk to my sweet, sweet friend Shookie for a few hours today and it was delightful.

I love her so much. We can go months without talking, but when we speak, it’s like we we just talked the day before.Friendships like that are so special. She’s one of those people that are very deep and very smart, so she can talk about most anything and really can contribute to any conversation. Our religious and political beliefs are very similar and she is extremely logical but also very spiritual.

We laughed a LOT today and had some pretty hilarious conversation. I needed that!! She saw my little friend out and about and had some funny stories to tell about ducking and diving. 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway, That just made my day. As soon as I saw her text it made me smile. I’m glad we could talk for a few hours on the phone. She adores Gary and the kids so it almost gives me a feeling of talking to my Mother or like having a big sister. ♥️
