Yes! I’ve been reading about people using Nooch as a cheese substitute so I decided to order some and give it a try. I wouldn’t say that it’s exactly like cheese, but I can see why it could be substituted in many recipes. I think with some additional salt it could be really delicious in a lot of things. I use Dan-O’s Cheesoning, and without looking I’m thinking this may be the main ingredient. I’ll definitely have to research it later, but it tastes a lot like it, but without the Italian seasonings, of course.

I think this could be wonderful to use in a broccoli and cheese soup sprinkled over a baked potato or even mixed into heated cottage cheese and turned into a dip packed with protein.

The serving size is 2 tablespoons, which is 10 g for those of you that prefer weight like myself, and that equals 40 cal and 5 g of protein. You honestly can’t beat that you could easily double it up if needed.

Apparently, this is a huge thing among vegetarians and vegans. I certainly intend to put it to good use and I will let you guys know of any recipes I come up with.

If there’s a better brand that someone would recommend, please let me know!
