Do you ever look at someone and think “Wow, they sure don’t look like what they’ve been through, or they sure are strong or they don’t seem to be a mess considering what they’ve experienced.”

That’s what God does with our suffering!! He puts us back together despite our challenges and he makes us stronger when we trust him. He uses our suffering to grow good things in us. We’re not bitter anymore, we’re not miserable and depressed. Instead, we use it to propel us forward and to encourage others. We wave people out of the way of dangers we’ve already been through and we can be an example to others that there is still life after deep pain.

He is so good!! You are not meant to live broken. You are not meant to carry all of your pain alone. You don’t have to. He loves you and wants to give you a life that has real joy, and laughter despite what you’ve been through. He is so faithful to his children that believe in him.

Thank you Lord. Your mercies are new everyday!!!!
