It’s Spring Break!!! Wooo hoooo!! I hope everyone is well and watching these dangerous storms that a lot of us are in the line of.
I have been doing my major Spring Cleaning the last 2 days. I usually wait until after Spring Break, but my kids are older now and they actually help out.
What do you do different when you Spring Clean?
I am going to be putting away Winter clothes, wiping walls and baseboards, touching up paint on my cupboards and cabinets, cleaning under furniture bc Clementine is at the end of her seasonal hair shedding, window washing, and deep cleaning fans. I’m changing filters in our purifiers, wiping down the sunroom after the winter and new pollen (I power wash everything minus the tv which I bring in) and then I’m going to get my oven and fridge deep cleaned. I’m going to sanitize my washing machine and dishwasher too. All the stuff that only needs to be done yearly or biannually.
So, I’m gonna be a busy Mama this week!!
Y’all stay safe if you’re getting this weather. You can sure feel it rolling in. It makes me a little nervous, but I trust in the one who provides the rain. 🌧️

My goodness Jennifer just reading about all your cleaning exhausts me, lol. I will do my windows inside and out, rent a shampooer and go after my rugs, knock down the cobwebs, though in this house for some reason that is a never ending task, and dust furniture, baseboards and ceiling fans. I already top to bottom cleaned my kitchen in January so that is on thing off the list 🙂 Enjoy the week!

It sounds WAY more difficult than it is. It won’t take very long. Things aren’t that dirty so a lot of it is fast and easy! I suffer from terrible allergies so I HAVE to stay on top of dust and pollen or it makes me very sick. I have been able to go without my inhaler since fall and I’m so glad. I just have to make sure I don’t let it get out of hand. I learned the hard way that just because you don’t see dog hair, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It’s h see things and in the craziest places!
Oh the shampooer, that’s the one thing I cannot do. I always pressure wash my rugs in the driveway and let them sun dry bc I HATE shampooing. 😆 We have one only those tiny pet shampoo things and I won’t even use it. I make Gary do it. 😄 I hope you’re having a good weekend!!!

Today was my first day back to work after a lovely week off. It went well, nice to be back in my routine 🙂 I rent a shampooer and do my carpets every year, living room and bedroom. If I owned this house, the carpet would be the first thing to go. I would get one of the beautiful laminate hard wood style floors I love! Sorry about the allergies 😦 My dog is allergic to grass of all things so spring and fall can be tricky for her. I keep her on allergy medicine year round.
