Let me scream it for you. Woo hoooo. Gary’s off until Tuesday and I’m a happy Mama!

Our new mattress was delivered a few days ago and my back is so thankful!! I slept so good the last 2 nights and my back is feeling better already. What a difference! We ended up going with a Purple extra firm. I tore my ACL twice in the last few years and I had a botched epidural when I had Norah Harper that has left me with some significant numbness and nerve damage. How I sleep plays a big role in how I feel with both issues.. I’m very grateful and I can’t believe how quickly my pain has subsided. Good stuff!

I’m dehydrating big batches of sourdough starter today. Gary’s Aunt Yvonne wants a big batch for her and Aunt Dee. They both want to start baking Sourdough, so I’ve got to mail it to BR today.

Speaking of Baton Rouge, we may be going there for a few days for Gary to do his Fire training at LSU. He’s on the Fire safety team at work and he needs to get certified. He did that in Tampa years ago but LSU is much closer. It’s not mandatory, but he loves it and it pays a lot more when you get your certification.

I just really want to go see my new nephew!! It would be fun to stay in hotel a few nights and go have a nice dinner with family and just spend a few days visiting. My kids don’t need to miss school, but I will totally let them if it means they can see their new cousin. I’m excited!!! 🤗

I hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend. We’re going to do our Sam’s Club run tomorrow (we’re taking the kids, so pray for us) and then we’re going to spend the weekend planting our seeds for our summer garden. 🪴
