Happy Valentine’s Day!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

I feel like it’s most people’s least favorite holiday, and I can understand that. I only like it because my kids love it so much. Our Anniversary is this month so we make Valentines more about the kiddos. Gary always gets me flowers and I get him candy, but we don’t really do anything special. If it weren’t for the kids we would probably only acknowledge our Anniversary.

The kids were so cute this morning. Gage got Gary to take him to buy me some Lego roses with his money. He gave them to me this morning. It was very sweet. He is such a fine young man. He has such a sweet and gentle way about him. I just love how sensitive and kind he is.

Norah Harper made us the funniest card. She just tickles me. Everything is fun and good and exciting. 😂 She is bursting with excitement for life. I was a little like that as a kid. I hope she stays that way. We lose some of that as we get older and life beats us up. She wanted to give all her teachers tulips today, so we made sure she could do that. She also took a heart shaped box of candy to her little boyfriend Tristen. She is definitely my child that loves making others happy. We finally finished her cards for her class too.

I hope she’ll always find reasons to be joyful and I hope Gage will find people who nurture his sensitive heart.

I’m very thankful for my little Valentines, and I’m so thankful for their precious Daddy that helped create and shape them.
