The kids and I woke up at 7:15 and we’re usually up at 6:45. I completely forgot to set my alarm last night so we were rushing and we missed the bus. Right as we turned we saw the back of the bus pull off. Luckily my neighbor Florence hadn’t left yet, so she dropped Harper off.

I could have ran her to school but Gage doesn’t start until 9:20 and he needed me to help him with something, so I was really glad she let her hop in. I do love having good neighbors!

I’m gonna kill and few hours until Gary comes home. He’s knocking off at noon and we’re going to Pensacola to look for a new mattress. The last 2 we’ve had, we’ve ordered online but I want us to try some out. I like something more firm than I used to. They make so many great toppers now, that you don’t need too much cushion or your spine isn’t supported. That’s kind of why we need a better mattress now. I loved it when we got it but with my down topper you kinda sink. We’ll see what we can find. Good rest is important!

Maybe I can talk him into a TJ Maxx trip too. 🫣🤣 I haven’t been in there since before Christmas. I’m proud of myself, but I need some candles. 😆
