Norah Harper has been begging me to make cinnamon rolls and I have so much starter right now, so I did!
They did not disappoint! I used a Farmhouse on Boone recipe and as always it’s delicious!
I love it because it has far less sugar than most recipes. You use more honey. I didn’t have any cream cheese on hand which is rare, so I just made a very simple basic frosting. Friends, these are delicious. I just finished a 16 hr fast so this was my first thing to eat and I am not mad about it taking up a lot of my daily calories. 🤣 SO Worth it!

I used to make sourdough bread at a Mennonite bakery I worked at, and also cinnamon rolls, but never sourdough cinnamon rolls. I am intrigued!

Aww that’s amazing! I’ve always been a good cook, but I don’t bake a lot. Sourdough has really made me love baking. I didn’t think the cinnamon rolls really had a sourdough taste, because they didn’t ferment or anything, BUT they were really good! It’s a good way to use my starter in between baking bread.
