Gage finally turned a corner with his ears so he’s back at school. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I haven’t been home alone in a while so it is very quiet in the house. I thought it would be low key morning.

I decided I would shower and enjoy my alone time and the phone rang as soon as I got out and put on my robe. I usually don’t answer but it was a local number. I had a delivery that was supposed to be here tomorrow arriving and they were at the neighborhood gate and I didn’t have the code. I couldn’t remember it actually. 🙄🫠 I had to call Gary at work and get it.

The postman and a lot of our Amazon deliveries have their own access, so that was a first. It was something I’d ordered at Target that was in my cart and it was out of stock so they shipped it and delivered it. I’ve never done that before, it just asked if I wanted it delivered for free, and I clicked yes. I didn’t realize it would be an actually driver from the store. Anyway, we got it handled.

Then my dog had some kind of an episode. Our Yorkie is in his end of life phase and he has gone downhill pretty fast. He only weighs like 5 lbs now. He gets choked easily and has issues with allergies. Poor baby.

We started him on the fresh dogfood that you get in the refrigerated section in the rolls and he’s eating better. Not enough to gain any real weight, but he seems to enjoy eating it and he moves around more recently. It’s gonna break our hearts when he leaves. He’s 11, but he was in bad shape when we got him. He had a hard life before us. I like to think we have given him some good years and nursed him back to health as much as we could. That’s the point of adopting an animal. To give them a better life.

Oh, and I was up late last night because we have a new nephew 🙂 My SIL Jessica had her 4th child last night. Benjamin Isaac 🙂

She was soooooo ready to get him here. She had her cervix swept twice last week to try to get things moving along, but he had his own plans. He finally arrived after she had a long day in the birthing tub. He came out sunny side up and he’s 8lbs and 20 inches of sweetness. The chunkiest cheeks.

That’s all the random stuff I have to share today. Hah.

Oh and our neighbors are moving out today. I’m pretty sure it will be a family moving in, so we are hoping we’ll have some good new neighbors.

Norah would loveeeee to have a girl out here 🙂 Fingers crossed.

I’m off to make kids the beds and probably find half of my silverware. 🤣🤣🤣
