Today I walked 5 miles with ZERO back pain.

My shins hurt a little and I could feel a tiny bit of sciatic pain when I got home, but I haven’t been able to speed walk like that without pain in 9 months. It was amazing!!

I have a checkup tomorrow and I cannot WAIT to tell my doctor. I’m also going in down 15 lbs. My discipline and work is paying off!

I’m so thankful! I swear, no one will ever understand what I went through with my back last year. A bulging disc, a herniated disc, severe inflammation and sciatica. It was a LOT!! I wasn’t sure I’d ever be normal again.

Diet, moderate exercise and anti-inflammatory/high protein has completely changed my life. I’ll be 49 in a few months and I feel better than I did in my 30’s.

No alcohol, nicotine, excessive sugars, or caffeine on top of better habits is the best thing I could have ever done for myself.
