Since we’re getting the pizza oven tomorrow, I’ve been looking up recipes for dough. I have a bunch for the fam, but this will be my own low carb thin crust:
It exists!
🍕 Thin-Crust Sourdough (12-inch, 8 slices)
1 cup 00 or all-purpose flour
½ cup sourdough starter
1 tbsp olive oil
🧂 Salt + 💧 Water Amounts
Salt
½ teaspoon fine salt (If using kosher salt → about ¾ teaspoon)
Water
Start with ¼ cup (60 ml) warm water Add 1 tablespoon at a time only if needed
You want the dough to be:
Soft & Smooth -Not sticky – Easy to roll thin
Whole crust: ~575–600 calories
🔢 PER SLICE (1 of 8)
Calories: 70–75 kcal
Carbs: 13–15 g
Fat: 2–2.5 g
Protein: 2.5–3 g
This gives you some room to add protein! Just had to share! I’ll let you guys know how it comes out 🙂
