What nicknames have you had and why?
Jen-Jen– My Mom called me that a lot. My friend Shookie calls me that too.
J-Dub – My HS on and off boyfriend and his friends called me that bc my maiden name is Welch and Dub sounds like W (double you).
Jenn n’ Juice– another HS nickname that really stuck for a while. I had an airbrushed car tag for the front of my car. Basically bc I have a big butt and that song was relatively new. (Gin and Juice- Snoop Dogg) 🤷🏼♀️
Duck Duck– one of my exes called me that bc I have broken both ankles and my feet turn out. 🤣 I walk just like Melanie Griffith. If you ever see You’ve Got Mail, watch her walk. That’s my walk. lol He called me Duck Duck and I called him Goose.
Security– My friend Pookie started it. I was bartending at a hotel and had to carry a lady out who was drunk trying to fight me, and when I was working at the Oyster Bar a lady got in a fight with her husband and was swinging a pool stick around so I backed her out of the bar with it and had to restrain her until the cops got there. That ended up happening many other times (different people and circumstances) so I ended up being called Security. I eventually bought a few t-shirt that I would wear on weekends. That’s kind of embarrassing, but I was in my mid 20’s.
Linda– Gary has been calling me Linda for years lol I have no idea how it started, but he does it when I do something stupid or really funny. I call him Linda too for the same reason. “Love you, Linda” is something I hear a lot. 🤣
Jenny J– Gary’s Dad called me that. No idea why, my middle name is LeAnne. 🤣 But it stuck. I miss his crazy self.
That’s all I can recall. They’re the ones I still hear from time to time from random old friends etc. Jennifer is the most common name on Earth so nicknames are welcome.
