We’re busy Elves at the Alcinas.

I’m finishing up last minute things. I’m sending out Sourdough and Buffalo Chicken Dip to all the neighbors, wrapping last minute gifts for the kids, and trying to slowly get all of our Christmas Eve food out.

Today we’re just grazing.. I’m not cooking a sit down dinner, we’re just gonna snack today and watch Christmas movies. I’m making Meatballs, smoked sausages, sausage and cheese balls, rotel, buffalo chicken pinwheels, pastrami sliders. and lots of cookies!

We’re going to have our Christmas tonight. The kids have a nasty cold, and they had a rough few days. We’re gonna let them open gifts tonight and sleep in tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow Gary is going to fry us a Chicken, and some pork belly in his new fryer. Yum!! And we’re having loaded grits with Bacon, smoked Gouda, and green onions. Untraditional, but that’s what we want! I’m making turnip greens and cornbread too 🙂

I feel the Christmas Spirit again this year and I’m so thankful.

It really is a “Wonderful Life”.
