I managed to pull together a few things for both kids today. I think we’ve decided to get them a 3D printer, because neither really asked for anything this year.

Our kids have more than enough, but neither one of them have ever been big on “stuff”. I’ve been blessed that when I say no, they’re just like “ok”. I only remember Gage throwing a fit one time- when he was about 6. He had a meltdown about Star Wars Lego set and I had to carry him out of Target. He is still to this day, a Lego Lover. He said he wouldn’t mind a smaller set this year but he doesn’t have much space in his room left to display them. He has all his builds on shelves including his Titanic.

Harper never got that into Barbie’s or any particular thing. She liked anything we gave her, but she would rather be outside in the dirt or in the pool when she was smaller.

Anyway, I picked up Harper some red high top platform converse today and Gage some Hey Dude boots. They had a clearance rack of Converse pullovers so I got them each 2 of those. I usually won’t buy hoodies bc it’s just not cold here long enough, but these weren’t real heavy. I also found Gage 2 pairs of jeans on sale too. Normally I don’t gift them clothing but they’re older. A few clothes don’t hurt. They are at that age.

I think I’ll go to Bath & Body Works and Ulta tomorrow to get some good stocking stuffers for Harper now that she’s wearing makeup. She likes their face wipes and headbands and she loves anything from B&BW. I also want to get Gage a little electric razor and his first bottle of cologne. He has a little mustache now. Geeze, he’s becoming a young man. 😍

That’s probably gonna be it for shopping this year. I really hope Gary can find a good 3D printer locally and that’s gonna be a wrap.
