Something I’ve learned about happiness at 48:
It’s not about adding more to your life. It’s about letting things go.
Letting go of debt.
Letting go of toxic people.
Letting go of pointless obligations and anything that drains your peace.
Letting go of peoples opinions.
We go through a lot of life thinking happiness is something you chase or earn. But honestly, it’s what’s left after you subtract everything that weighs you down.
When you clear the mental, emotional, and spiritual clutter… what remains is that steady, calm, grown-woman happiness that actually lasts. What remains is family, and God.
