Who else’s kids wait until the very last minute to tell you what they need?
Tonight it was Poster Board, a knitting loom for art, a sword for Halloween, sweatpants for Gage and Norah Harper wants a new coat bc her zipper is broken…oh.. and they both needed socks. I just bought socks at the first of the year, but now they want different socks.
Y’all, it never stops. All of this they tell me after we’re back from Sam’s and Home Goods. Plus… I had ordered 2 family Zax Packs from Zaxby’s to drop off at Gage’s friend’s house (the one who’s Dad passed away). And of course it was the opposite direction.
Then Gage tells me super casually at 9pm that it’s Pajama day tomorrow, he needs 40$ for the book fair, and that his friends Jackson and Zach are coming over tomorrow to go fishing. It just drives me crazy when they tell me things last minute. “Well, I forgot”. 😆
We got it all sorted minus a coat for Norah. She can wait until we get out this weekend. It’s Florida.. she doesn’t even need a coat yet. 🤪
So yeah, that was my afternoon. A little hectic but I honestly wouldn’t change a hair on their heads. They’re teaching me patience I suppose, and hopefully I’m teaching them to be more conscientious and prepared.
That’s the only news I have.. I’m tired!!! I made it to bed right before midnight! 🤗
Goodnight friends! ❤️
