
I’ve started planning meals again because it’s much easier to avoid forgetting about the things I’ve bought and letting them go to waste. I threw out so many things this week when I cleaned the fridge that I had totally forgotten about, and it made me so mad.. a whole container of spinach I bought to make Spinach Alfredo, for example.
I might switch the days around, but I’m going to stick to the meals I picked. For instance, I’m making the Chicken Pot Pie tonight, and I’ll make the stuffed peppers tomorrow. Having a plan also keeps us from eating out as much.
I never add weekends because we usually do eat out some, and we can just figure it out together. I mainly need a plan for weeknights bc it just makes everything run more smoothly, and the kids aren’t constantly asking, “What’s for dinner?” If you have an Amazon Echo Show, you can go to Lists, and there’s a Menu you can add and pin to the Home Screen. It will even search recipes and add ingredient lists if you prompt it. Sharing because I didn’t know that you could do that.❤️
