Gary bought The College Scam and then I read it. It changes the way I’ll look at my kids when it’s time to make these decisions. If they are not passionate about something that requires college, I hope they’ll find a source of happiness that doesn’t require a lifetime student debt and brainwashing. I’m not going to get into the indoctrination part of it, but as a parent it’s definitely part of my feelings.
I’ve watched so many of my friends become Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, and Teachers etc. but I’ve also seen a lot of people use school like a free check and never really do anything with their minor educations and have so much debt as adults. My brother had his Masters and he went to school on scholarships for several years until he had to forfeit them bc he had to take time off for his back surgeries. His eventual return and his Grad School debt was outrageous even at almost 50 years old. He was paying close to 800$ a month.
It’s a decision they’ll have to make but college isn’t for everyone. I cannot imagine either one of us having school debts. I think it’s such a trap for people unless they REALLY have a clear calling.
Anyway, I cannot wait to read Under Siege!!! I heard House in Habit say it’s going to be a big piece of history one day. 🇺🇸❤️
