Settling in for the night already. Gary wants a “bed” night. That means we eat take out, watch a movie and don’t do anything else.

It’s been a long week despite the kids being out Monday. It felt slow, which isn’t bad at all, but I’m ready to spend some time with my family for a few days. Gary’s off until Wed night.

He went to look at some land today and then went to work for a few hours. No, we aren’t moving anytime in the near future, but we have been considering looking at land/properties closer to where the kids will go to high school in a few years. We’re pretty far out, and I know Gary would love to have more space so we could have more animals etc. and the kids are getting big. I’d really like to give them more room and privacy. They’re always on top of each other and in each others way in the kitchen and bathroom.

We’ve always said we’d build on a big game room and MIL suite, but that’s so much time and money. Not to mention having contractors in your space all the time. Anyway, It’s just something we’re considering. If it didn’t pan out we could always sell the land. It could be a good investment. It’s just really hard to tell in these times.

These are times I wish my Mom was around to talk to. Alan is actually coming this week, so I may talk to him about it.
