Well, I overdid it and now I’m paying dearly for it. I tried to jump back into everything all at once now I’m having a pretty major flare up.
I still don’t completely understand what my sciatica diagnosis means.. will it do this forever, or once every few years or just be a freak thing that plagued me for 6 months of my life?
I suppose they don’t really know either. I feel silly complaining because quite obviously it could be worse, but I can’t pretend this hasn’t been the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced, because it has.
Anyway, I’m trying to take it easy. I do a little and then rest my back. It’s also so strange how a lower back issue can only hurt through your hip and leg. My back rarely hurts at all, but it feels like my calf, hip and ankle are broken and on fire at the same time.
It is what it is. Lots of books are coming, and I’m just trying to take this time to pray, meditate and read my Bible study.
Gary, as always, is precious. He brought me these flowers today.

Aren’t they pretty? He said he knew I’d like that orange vase, and I certainly do! He is the sweetest man. 🤍
He also bought picked me up some Cirkul Fitsips because I love them. Do any of you guys do the Cirkul drinks? We are hooked!! Gary has a big stainless one and the kids and I have the clear ones. I’m gonna order me a stainless one tonight I think.
The kids get a box of the Stevia Alligator Apple, Gecko Grape and Parrot Punch. Gary likes the Lemonade Squeeze and I get the FitSip with extra B12 in Wild Cherry and Strawberry Banana. We just love them!

I’ve never drank this much water. I absolutely love my Cirkul. I’ll have to show you what bottle I choose. I really do need a stainless one so my ice isn’t melting all the time. The kids have to have clear bottles so there’s are good. Just thought I’d share bc it’s cheaper than buying drinks non stop and better for them.
Anyway, that’s all the news I have. I hope everyone is doing well. 🤍

Beautiful flowers, Jennifer. I’m sorry about the flare-up. I have struggled with sciatica for years. Some days are definitely better than others. Right now my pain is pretty much constant. I’m just getting too old to be on my feet (on concrete floors) for eight hours a day. I find the stretches from motivational doc to be invaluable. When the pain starts to flare up at work I do some of the less conspicuous ones. It gets me through my shifts 🙂

Bless you. It’s so awful. I knoe that’s got to be so painful. I had it through my buttocks and hip when I was pregnant with both kids, but this started down my leg with my L5/L4 disc bulging. It worries me that I may be looking at back surgery. I couldn’t even walk to my bathroom without a cane or crutches for almost 6 weeks. I’m just trying to figure it all out and find a balance between staying active but also resting. I pray yours eases up and that you get some relief soon!!
