I had a few days this past week that I was hurting so bad I couldn’t even function. Back pain is brutal and the healing is hard because it centralizes and gets worse before it gets better.

What I initially thought was a torn muscle in my leg has revealed itself to be sciatica that’s so severe it runs all the way to my foot. It’s been challenging to say the least. I couldn’t even walk for 2 days.

I tell you what… marry someone you can suffer with. I’m not kidding. Gary had to carry me to the bathroom for a few days, and carry me to the bathtub. I just sobbed while he bathed me and washed my hair because I was in so much pain. He had to dress me, and do everything for me for about 48 hrs. Totally helpless. Yesterday was better and today is a little better too. It’s baby steps.

So yeah.. life isn’t just the lovey dovey stuff. You need soneone who will hold you up when the ground gives out. Because love isn’t proven in the easy. It’s truly revealed in the suffering.
