So much going on this week!! Despite my not being able to move much, life never stops.We have contractors here today so I’m just hibernating in my room. I’m about to do a quick Bible study and find something to binge on Netflix or prime for the next day or two.

This is the week that I clean out closets every year. Since I wasn’t able to do that, I had the kids help. They made piles of everything that doesn’t fit them, and I had them hang all their new school clothes and remove the tags and stickers etc. I’m sure they hated doing it, but they plowed through. Gage donated pretty much everything in his closet because he’s so much taller this year. Even his shorts are too short. For school I got him 3 pairs of khaki pants, 2 jeans, 2 sweatpants and 8 shirts so far, but I really thought his shorts would work. I was wrong. That will do for a while, but I’ll probably get him new shorts in spring.

Nothing much to tell, just getting back into the school groove. They both love their classes and teachers this year, so that’s a blessing. Gage was super excited about going back. He missed his buddies over the summer.

Norah Harper is becoming her own person. She’s very opinionated about what she’s wearing this year. We fight over socks and editing her jewelry every morning. Yesterday she wrote me a note telling me why she would like a pair of Dr. Marten Polley Mary Jane’s for her birthday. 🙄 She has developed my shoe fetish!!

Gary is working long hours, but he loves his job. Such a blessing. He’s been home during the day so we enjoyed the peace and quiet this week. He didn’t even get out of bed until noon today. It was nice 🤍
