Whew. I am done with school shopping!

Miss Norah had some very particular things she wanted this year and it made it a little harder. She wanted black Eva Lift Converse, which we couldn’t find anywhere locally, but I found them on the Converse website, which I should have just done from the beginning, and she wanted a gun metal studded belt from Buckle that was in the store but not online, so that was a trip to Pensacola, and she wanted a Dr. Marten heart shaped Kiev bag. Thankfully she was pretty easy with clothes. She basically just wanted Jean shorts, Jean skirts and lots of T- shirts. She’s pretty simple, and at least she wears shorts.

Gage basically wears sweatpants and T-shirts with hoodies all year long like most of the kids. Despite it being Florida, their school is as cold as a hospital, so they dress like it’s winter all year round. 🤣 I like everything I got him though. He wanted slip on converse, and a converse backpack, so I got them online when I got hers. Pretty easy this year. Next up is school supplies. I’m ordering EVERYTHING online this year and a few things in bulk from Sam’s. If we have extra, GOOD…. We’ll use it next year or donate to the classroom. Back to school shopping is exhausting and I’m not up to it this year.

Gary did get me an awesome knee scooter for getting out and about so I don’t need crutches, but it’s still not fun to be on one leg! A few more weeks…. 😩 I’ve just got to be patient. Nerves heal at a snails pace. I’m just lucky it’s not worse. 🙏🏼
