What’s your go-to comfort food?

Probably Spaghetti. We ate spaghetti a lot when I was growing up bc it was Jay’s favorite. He was a really big eater when he played football in high school, so my Mom would make huge pots of spaghetti at least once a week.

I don’t make it very often but when I do it reminds of childhood. I like to spend all day on my sauce, and cook it with lots of vegetables. It’s a true ragu from tomatoes, carrots, onions, peppers, squash garlic and Zuchinni. I even use eggplant when in season. I puree it and no one even knows that’s all in there! It’s sooo good. I use lots of meat too. It’s so comforting.
