I overheard them talking while they’re playing some game.
Gage: Dad do you think our dogs will go to heaven too?
Gary: I do. I have no doubt.
Gage: how do we know for sure there’s a heaven?
Gary: Well, you just know it when you know it, just like you know you’re breathing or that the world is turning. I feel it in my soul that my home is with Christ. Grandma and lots of people are waiting there for us. I have felt Grandma visit me. I know that Jesus is alive because he is in me. He’s in you too.
Gage: I believe it. I feel it too.
Gary: Good. Don’t ever let the world or the people around you convince you otherwise. Keep that relationship strong. I wish I’d had that as a young man. I would have made better choices, but now I can help to guide you when you have questions and we can both lean on Jesus together.
😭😭😭😭😭😭

One response to “Gage & Gary”
He’s a good kid. I’m glad I can answer him and mean it from the bottom of my heart. I didn’t have much certainty as a young lad.
