Belle Boyd – She was a very brave and wild spy during the civil war with lots of sass and smarts. She used her charm and connections to start spying for the Confederacy.
She used her Southern drawl to woo ppl and hid military messages in her shoes, hair etc. History books recall that she once rode through enemy lines under fire to deliver information riding with bullets flying past her corset. When Union soldiers invaded her home they insulted her Mama, and she shot one of them dead. She wasn’t charged, but she was exiled to England where she married a Union naval officer. Very scandalous stuff. 🤣 I love her.
