What is a band you once loved but can’t listen to anymore?

Elliott Smith, Ben Folds and The Counting Crows.

I mean I can.. but it’s painful. ❤️‍🩹 I’ll always love Elliott Smith though. I always wanted to marry a boy with the last name Smith so I could have his last name. My AOL chat name was JennySmithXo back in the day. 🤣😭🤣

I got really into him when I lived in Texas, right before he died. Then he got super popular after Goodwill Hunting came out. Between the Bars is so overplayed. His rarities are some of his best stuff. A few of them got popular years later bc of some of Wes Anderson’s films. But yeah, it’s still pretty depressing music. 🤣

The Counting Crows were something Jay and I bonded over. I think Adam Duritz is an amazing storyteller and writer but every single song makes me cry now.

Ben Folds makes me think of my Dad. Not all of it obviously, but the Rhinehold Messner album.

That’s all I can think of but there’s probably more.
