I had a fun day with the kids yesterday. Gary is working 16hr shifts this weekend and today. He’s working 10:30am -2:30am. It’s brutal Hours, but he actually plans it like that bc they get double pay on Sunday and holidays- so that’s crazy money and crazy OT. I don’t blame him, despite my missing him. He’s so lucky they let them do that.

The kids and I are cooking out tonight and gonna get in the pool. I usually wait for Gary to be home to cook out, but I love to grill, so we are gonna fire it up. He said he’d FaceTime with us for a while and we will save him plenty of food 🙂 The kids still have 2 and a half days of school left! They added a few days on to our calendar for all the snow days last year.

They’re having fun though. Harps class gets to wear their bathing suit and they’re renting inflatable waterslides for water day. They do that every year, and Kona Ice comes out with Snocones. They have the best schools! Gage has two more tests this week, but they’ve had some fun days too. Legos, movies etc. Good times. Love those turkeys!!!

Anyway, we will definitely take some time today to honor those who have defended our rights and our home with the ultimate sacrifice and have a good talk about it. God Bless those grieving today! 👏🏼🤍
