Who is the most confident person you know?
I would easily say my husband, but he sure hasn’t always been! In fact, he might have been the least confident person I knew when I met him.
He’s not confident in an arrogant way. He’s very calm and soft spoken. He’s not overbearing or cocky, but he’s worked really hard and he’s been taught a lot about life through hard things. He just has the mindset that if something needs to be done and he doesn’t know how, he’s GOING TO figure it out. I don’t think he had any idea how capable and smart he is when I first met him. It was like he matured almost overnight and he has this real passion to be successful and good at whatever he’s doing.
He just needed to realize his potential and be reminded of it. Men really need that.. Women do too, but I think we just expect men to be strong or have those characteristics and sometimes they don’t. He didn’t have a Dad to teach him things or instill that kind of confidence in him. Now he gets to be the Dad and teach his son the things he wish he’d been taught. That’s what it’s all about!
