I always love it when the kids are home, so we had a very good day today.

I talked to my friend Angela today and her son Richard (the one in ICU) was moved to a regular room today and will probably get to go home tomorrow.

God is so good!!! They had to all take classes today on how to manage his insulin etc. He and Gage are a week apart in age (both 11) and she said he weighs 65 lbs!!! He lost a tremendous amount of weight after having the flu in December and this all just seemed to snowball. For reference, Gage weighs 89 lbs. and they are the same height.

She said the doctor mentioned that a lot of times they find out a child is diabetic after they go through a rough viral illness. We are just so glad he’s okay.
