Literally all I can do is stare at the news today. Gary and I have been sitting here on the couch since 9 am. It’s just so sad. My brother lived in LA for a few years so I’ve been there a few times in my 20’s, but I think it’s hard for people to understand how many homes are built on the hillsides of California. When you say 30k acres, you don’t realize how many are built up on these cliffs and mountainous hills. It’s a massive amount of displaced people.

Heartbreaking. Our country is a hot mess right now.
