We went out for a wonderful beignet breakfast downtown, and then we came home to watch church.

Gary started running a low grade fever after we ate, so we decided we didn’t need to expose anyone else. So…. We had our own communion here via online service with my sourdough and grape juice. 🤍 Norah Harper didn’t join us, because she wasn’t feeling well either.

Isn’t it wonderful that we can still worship at home these days? And the services sound amazing. I still think being in church is important because of fellowship, but someone has been sick in this house every weekend for over 2 months. 😩

Anyway.. it’s still been a good day. I managed to only eat ONE beignet, and now I’m making a delicious Gumbo to enjoy after the game. 🤍
