How have your political views changed over time?
I guess it’s just something I’ve grown more interested in as I’ve gotten older. As an adult and homeowner I wanted to know more about where our money goes and why. Even on a local level… property taxes etc. It made me start wanting to understand more about how our government works. Having children is a large factor for my desire to stay informed on what’s happening in our country as well. Their future depends greatly on the decisions we make now.
As far as my political stance, I’m definitely a Conservative, but I do lean a little libertarian. I don’t want my government to play to a role in my personal economics. Government should be in place to defend our rights. But I primarily have Republican values and ideas.
