Being sad and dark is the easiest, laziest, and most effortless thing a human can be. It’s our human nature to be more dark than light. The Bible talks about this a lot.
There is just nothing unique or different about being emotional, dark and sad all the time. It’s not mysterious, weird or cool. It’s actually more normal than not. We were born into sin and darkness. That is the world we live in. It takes a lot more courage, faith and conviction to live in light, and remain positive and faithful in a world full of such evil and darkness.
You have to dare to go the opposite way of the world. Do not let your circumstances dictate your future, because circumstances change ALL the time.
I say all these things because I need to remind myself some days!! It’s easy to feel blue. It’s easy to be depressed and worry. It’s easy to live in the past. It’s easy to think about the things we’ve lost and focus on grief. Don’t ever think that you’re the only one suffering because the world is full of suffering. God makes it very clear that we are entering a world that’s full of sinful nature and we will all endure pain and suffering.
The Bible is also very clear that what comes out of our mouths manifests. We all need to speak life into ourselves and our loved ones.
The devil is always looking for cracks in the foundation of your life. Stop giving it to him with your own words.
Satan is not Omnipotent.
He is not omnipresent.
Satan is not omniscient.
Only GOD!
Satan cannot hear your thoughts, he does not know your future, he is intelligent based on monitoring spirits. What he knows about you, and uses to harm you mostly comes FROM YOU. He knows your weaknesses. He knows what tempts you and what you want. He will send you everything you asked for that he knows will harm you.
That’s why asking for GOD’S will to be done and having faith is important. Satan knows he has no power. That’s why it’s dangerous when people are asking the Universe for things. That’s not God. You better be careful what you wish for. You just might get it at the sacrifice of the blessings God had in store for your life.
Faith is a muscle, and so is your mouth.
Alright, we are about to settle in and watch church this morning.
BTW, we have actively been watching Liberty Church in Pensacola every Sunday recently. We’ve had so much health stuff and colds etc that we’ve been doing online. We love that church and they now have a Campus here in Milton in the gorgeous Imogene Theater downtown. They just opened their doors like 2 months ago so they don’t have their service online but we watch the main Campus in P’Cola and it has really become something we look forward too. Their music and worship is amazing and Gary just LOVES the pastor. I’m gonna link today’s service below. We can’t wait to check out the campus here in Milton and start attending.
It starts at 11am central- . I will come back and check that it’s working after we watch it. I’m certainly all about the message today 😉
