Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays?
Oh yeah! Gary usually does his amazing Rib-eyes on Christmas and this year he made a Turkey for Thanksgiving. He also makes the best spiraled stuffed potatoes! He’s become a really good cook through the years. Gary’s Mom always does her bacon smothered cabbage and it’s fantastic!

I do a really good Coca-Cola Ham and either rice dressing or cornbread dressing for most holidays and usually my Gumbo for Christmas Eve.

On Easter I make Shepard “Pot” Pies with Puff Pastry. I roll the pastry like little budding roses. You can kind of pluck them out and dip them into the potatoes and gravy. Delicious!

As far as snack foods…
My cheese ball and pinwheels are a holiday favorite too. It’s such a simple cheeseball but everyone loves them! My mom made them every year, and now I do too

Cheese ball:
- Cream Cheese
- Chopped (Land O’ Lakes or Buddig) Corned Beef
- Worcestershire
- Green Onions
- Accent Seasoning
- Rolled in chopped Pecans or almonds
And my pinwheels were Jay’s favorite! He would eat half the tray. 😂

- Cream Cheese
- Zesty Salsa Ranch Seasoning
- Pimentos
- Black Olives
- Green onions
- Shredded sharp cheddar
That’s a few of our favorite things!
