
I cannot explain how great I feel when I do this. Baking Soda is sooooo much better than Epsom Salt, but here’s the way to do it, per most holistic doctors.
Only do this like once a month because you will be soaking almost and hour. Get your bath as hot as you can stand it, put in 1 lb of baking soda. Soak until the water cools a little below your body temperature. Just enough that it kind of gives you a chill. I flip over on my stomach for half of the time and rest my head on my bath pillow so my entire body is submerged up to my neck. I repeatedly splash my face and place my face into the water as well.
It takes close to an hour for my tub to cool. I have turned on my tub jets to cool it a little faster if I needed to get out..
You will feel SO good and your skin will feel like butter. I love the way my body feels after. I’m also going to try the bleach bathes occasionally for a few little patches of psoriasis that I get on my knees.
Look it up! It has amazing benefits (the capful of bleach). I listened to a 106 year old female doctor give a lecture about it and I can’t wait to try it. I know I feel good after swimming in chlorinated pools. Our saltwater pool is great too, but there’s something to the salt, soda and chlorine. People freak out when you say bleach but there’s probably as much in your drinking water as there would be using a capful in bath water..
