Happy Thanksgiving

We had such a low key Thanksgiving. It was just what we needed. Gary and I cooked a good meal and did a little decorating. The kids watched the Macy’s Parade and Peanuts Thanksgiving on Apple+. Gage has a bad cold but we had a sweet little family day. We’re all piled in our bed watching movies now. 🤍

We had a wonderful meal today. Gary made a Turkey that he injected with a compound butter I made last night (butter, pink salt, rosemary, sage, thyme) He also stuffed the cavity with fresh rosemary, thyme, sage, oranges, lemons, garlic and onion. The aromatics were amazing. I made my Mother’s cornbread dressing, green beans, Mac n’ cheese, Sweet Potatoes, chocolate chip Cookies and Apple Cobbler. Such a wonderful meal.

One more pic because it was so pretty!

I ate turkey, a few small bites of dressing and sweet potatoes. It was so good! I found cassava flour wraps last week so I’ll be having a lot of turkey and avocado wraps. Our turkey was 21 pounds. 😄😂

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their loved ones. God is so good.
